Step-by-step guide to adding a Zambian bank account recipient on Devdraft, so you can send local payouts within Zambia.

Like the Stablecoin wallet flow, adding a Zambia bank recipient is a single-step form — there’s no separate Owner and Bank Details screen.

What You Need Before You Start

Have the following ready before you begin:

Info	Notes
Bank	The recipient’s bank, selected from the supported Zambian bank list
Account number	The recipient’s bank account number
Email	Optional — the recipient’s email address

Steps

1. Start Adding a Recipient

   From the Recipients tab, tap the + icon in the top-left corner.

2. Choose the Recipient Type

   The Add Recipient popup opens with four destination types:

   • International bank — ACH, Wire, SEPA, PIX, SPEI and more
   • Stablecoin wallet — Send to a wallet address
   • Zambia bank — Bank account in Zambia
   • Zambia mobile money — Airtel or MTN in Zambia

   Select Zambia bank.

3. Add Recipient Details

   The Add recipient screen collects everything needed in one form:

   Field	Required	Notes
   Bank	Yes	Tap to open the bank picker
   Account number	Yes	The recipient’s bank account number
   Email	Optional	e.g. [e-mail]

   Tapping Bank opens a Select bank list covering Zambian banks such as Absa Bank, Access Bank, Bank of China, Citibank, Ecobank, Indo Zambia Bank, Investrust Bank, First Alliance Bank, First Capital, FNB, Stanbic Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, United Bank for Africa, Zanaco, ZICB, AB Bank, Natsave, Bayport, and Zambia National Building Society, among others.

   Once Bank and Account number are filled in, tap Save recipient.

What Happens Next

Once saved, the recipient appears on the Recipients screen and is ready to receive a local payout within Zambia.
