Identity verification (KYC) confirms who you are before you can create virtual accounts and use banking features. This guide walks through where KYC begins, what personal information and documents are required, the document quality standards your submission needs to meet, and what happens after you submit.Where KYC Begins
Once your registration is complete, KYC is triggered the first time you try to use a virtual account or banking feature. The Start receiving payments on your virtual account screen explains what’s needed before you begin:You need to complete KYC verification to create virtual accounts and use banking features.On this screen you’ll see your available account options (for example, a USD Account), and a card showing your virtual account status with a Verify button. Tap Verify to start the KYC process.
The Verification Steps
Verification is completed over a numbered sequence of steps (shown as X/10 at the top of each screen) and covers the following.1. Personal Details
The first step collects your core identity information. Based on what’s confirmed later on the Review screen, this includes:2. Your Address (2/10)
Enter your residential address exactly as it appears on your ID or Bank Statement:3. Choose Your ID (3/10)
Pick the document you’ll use to verify your identity:

4. Upload Your Document (4/10)
Upload photos of the document you selected. The exact fields shown depend on the document type — for example, an ID card asks for both sides:Ensure all details on the photo are visible and easy to read.
5. Take a Selfie (5/10)
Use your front camera so your face can be matched to your document. Before you start:- Face a bright light — make sure your face is well lit.
- Remove hat and glasses — keep your whole face visible.
- Hold still — centre your face in the frame.
6. Proof of Address (6/10)
Upload a recent utility bill, bank statement, or official document showing your residential address:7. Business Details (7/10)
Tell us about your work and upload a supporting document:8. Additional Questions (8/10)
This step appears for all users , where compliance needs more detail about your funds and how you plan to use the account:9. Review & Submit (9/10)
The final review screen shows everything you’ve entered, split into sections: Your Details (use Edit to go back and fix anything)- Name, Date of birth, Nationality, Phone, Tax ID, Address, Document

10. Accept Terms
Before your information is sent, you’ll be asked to review and accept the terms governing account connectivity and fund movement, along with the applicable Electronic Consent Agreement, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy. Tap Accept to continue.Submitting Verification
After you accept the terms, the app securely sends your documents for verification. You’ll see a Submitting your info screen with a loading indicator while this happens — this may take a moment.Document Format and Quality Requirements
Uploads are accepted in the following formats:JPG, PNG, HEIC, WEBP, or PDF — max 3 MB per file.
