What is a refund?

A refund is when we return funds to your original payment method. This happens when a transaction fails, is reversed, or when you request a refund for a specific payment.

How long do refunds take?

Refund processing times depend on your payment method:
Payment MethodProcessing Time
Bank transfers (ACH/Wire)3-5 business days after we process the refund
Card payments5-10 business days depending on your card issuer
Stablecoin/crypto withdrawalsTypically within 24 hours once processed on-chain
The refund timeline starts once we initiate the refund from our end. Your bank or payment provider may have additional processing time.

Will I get my transaction fees back?

This depends on the type of refund:
  • Failed transactions: Yes, if the transaction failed before processing, we refund all fees.
  • Successful transactions reversed: Payment fees are typically refunded, but network/gas fees are non-refundable as they were paid to third parties.
  • Voluntary refunds: Refund policy depends on the specific circumstances—contact support for details.

How do I track my refund?

  • For bank transfers: We’ll provide you with an IMAD number (wire transfer identifier). Give this to the sender’s bank to track the refund status.
  • For card refunds: Check with your card issuer using the original transaction date and amount. Refunds appear as credits on your statement.
  • For crypto refunds: We’ll provide the transaction hash. You can track it on blockchain explorers like Etherscan, Polygonscan, or Solscan.

Where does the refund go?

Refunds are always sent back to the original payment method:
  • Bank transfer refund → Returns to the bank account that sent the payment.
  • Card payment refund → Returns to the card used for payment.
  • Crypto payment refund → Returns to the wallet address that sent the payment.
We cannot send refunds to a different account or payment method for security reasons.

What if my refund hasn’t arrived?

If your refund is delayed:
  1. Check the expected processing time for your payment method (see above).
  2. Contact your bank or card issuer with the refund reference number we provided.
  3. If it’s been longer than the expected timeframe, contact our support team at support@devdraft.ai with your transaction details.

Can I cancel a refund?

No. Once a refund is processed, it cannot be canceled. The funds are already in transit back to your original payment method. If you need to make a new payment, you must initiate a new transaction once the refund completes.

Do refunds have fees?

  • Standard refunds: No additional fees for processing refunds.
  • Bank fees: Your bank may charge incoming wire fees (typically $10-25) which we cannot control.
  • Network fees: For crypto refunds, standard gas fees apply.
To process a refund, we need:
  • Original transaction ID or reference number
  • Date of the transaction
  • Transaction amount
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Your account email address
