Sending Money to a Zambian Bank Account

Devdraft lets you send USD that arrives as Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) in a recipient’s bank account, paid out through Devdraft’s Zambia cash-out network. This guide covers choosing a recipient, entering an amount, reviewing the rate and fees, confirming, and tracking the transfer.
This isn’t limited to a fixed list of banks. Any commercial bank operating in Zambia can receive a payout through the cash-out network — you don’t need to check a bank list before sending.

How Recipients Receive the Money

You send USD from your Devdraft balance. Devdraft converts it to Zambian Kwacha and deposits it straight into their bank account — the same way a regular local bank transfer would arrive.
