Overview

Before you can send a payout to someone in Brazil, you need to add them as a recipient, choose a payment rail, and provide their bank details. This guide walks through the full flow from tapping + on the Recipients screen to submitting a completed Brazilian bank beneficiary.
Brazilian beneficiaries can be paid via three payment rails: PIX (instant, via PIX key), PIX Safe (PIX with bank verification), or TED (same-day bank transfer). The fields you need to fill in on the Bank Details screen change depending on which rail you choose.

What You Need Before You Start

Have the following ready before you begin:

Step 1 — Start Adding a Recipient

From the Recipients tab, tap the + icon in the top-left corner.

Step 2 — Choose the Recipient Type

The Add Recipient popup opens with four destination types: International bank, Stablecoin wallet, Zambia bank, and Zambia mobile money. Select International bank.

Step 3 — Choose the Country / Account Type

A second Add Recipient screen lists the supported account types:
  • US Account — ACH & Wire, routing + account number
  • European (IBAN) — SEPA, IBAN + BIC
  • Mexican (CLABE) — 18-digit CLABE account number
  • Brazilian Account — PIX, PIX Safe & TED
  • Argentine Account — Transfers 3.0 (CVU, CBU or alias)
  • Colombian Account — ACH Colombia bank transfer
  • International SWIFT — Cross-border wire via SWIFT/BIC
Select Brazilian Account.

Step 4 — Choose the Payment Rail

The Payment Rail screen lists the three ways to pay a Brazilian recipient: Select the rail that matches how you want to pay this recipient — this determines which fields you’ll fill in on the Bank Details screen in Step 6.

Step 5 — Owner Details (1/2)

The Owner screen collects who the beneficiary is. Start by selecting Account Owner Type: Individual or Business. The fields below change depending on your selection.
Unlike the US, European, and Mexican flows, there’s no Bank Name field on this screen — bank details are collected on the next screen instead, and vary based on the payment rail you selected in Step 4.
Once all required fields are filled in, tap Continue to proceed to Bank Details.

Step 6 — Bank Details (2/2)

The final screen collects the recipient’s account details under an Account section. Which fields appear depends on the payment rail you chose in Step 4:
Double-check the PIX key, bank code, and CPF/CNPJ before submitting — an incorrect value is the most common reason a payout fails or is misdirected.
Once every field is complete, tap Add Bank Beneficiary to save the recipient.

What Happens Next

Once saved, the beneficiary appears on the Recipients screen with a Bank label under their name, and is ready to receive a payout via the payment rail you selected.
