# Virtual Card Waitlist

> Where to find the Virtual Cards section in the Devdraft mobile app, what Coming Soon means, and how to register your interest by joining the early access waitlist.

# Joining the Virtual Card Waitlist

The Devdraft Card lets you spend your balance globally, tap to pay in-store and online, anywhere Visa is accepted. The card isn't live yet, but you can register your interest now by joining the early access waitlist from the mobile app.

## Where Virtual Cards Appears

Virtual Cards has its own tab in the bottom navigation bar of the Devdraft mobile app, the card icon, sitting between the banking and referrals tabs.

Tap it to open the Virtual Cards screen, which shows a preview of the Devdraft Card along with the features it will support.

## Current Coming Soon Status

Before you join the waitlist, the card preview carries a **COMING SOON** badge and the heading:

> Spend your balance globally with the Devdraft Card

Beneath it you'll see the supporting line **Tap to pay in-store and online, anywhere Visa is accepted**, followed by an **Apply for Early Access** button.

<Info>
  **Coming Soon** means the Devdraft Card is not yet issued to any user. The screen is a preview of what's being built, nothing on it can be spent, funded, or activated yet.
</Info>

Scrolling further down the screen shows what the card is being designed to do, including:

| Feature | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Spend globally** | Use the card anywhere Visa is accepted, in-store and online |
| **Spend analytics** | Track and categorise your card spending in-app |

Scrolling further still shows the full set of planned card capabilities under **CARD FEATURES**:

| Feature | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Freeze in a tap** | Lock and unlock a card instantly |
| **Create in seconds** | Spin up virtual cards on demand |
| **Set spend limits** | Cap how much each card can spend |
| **Tap to pay** | Add the card to Apple Pay and Google Pay |

## Opening the Waitlist

To register your interest, tap **Apply for Early Access** on the Virtual Cards screen.

## Information Required

No separate application form is presented. The waitlist uses the account details already held on your Devdraft profile, so applying is a single tap, there's nothing extra to type in or upload at this stage.

<Info>
  Because the waitlist draws on your existing profile, it's worth making sure your account details and email address are current before you apply, that's the address used to contact you when spots open.
</Info>

## Joining Successfully

Once your application goes through, a confirmation appears over the card preview:

> **You're on the list**
>
> You're in the first 100. We'll email you the moment your spot opens.

The button beneath it reads **Applied!**. Close the confirmation with the **×** in the top-right corner to return to the Virtual Cards screen.

Your position is then reflected on the Virtual Cards screen itself:

| Before applying | After applying |
| - | - |
| Badge reads **COMING SOON** | Badge reads **ON THE LIST** |
| **Apply for Early Access** button | Confirmation row: **You're in the first 100** |

## What Joining the Waitlist Means

Joining the waitlist registers your interest in the Devdraft Card and reserves your place in the queue for early access.

<Warning>
  Joining the waitlist does **not** guarantee that a card will be issued to you, nor that your application will be approved. It records your interest and your position in line. Card issuance remains subject to availability, eligibility, and any verification or approval checks that apply when the product launches.
</Warning>

You won't be charged anything for joining, and no card is created on your account at this stage.

## How You'll Be Notified

When cards become available and your spot opens, Devdraft will contact you by email at the address on your account, you don't need to keep checking the app.

The Virtual Cards screen also stays up to date: the **ON THE LIST** badge and your position indicator remain visible whenever you open the tab, so you can confirm at a glance that your application was recorded.

<Info>
  Keep the email address on your Devdraft account current, and check your spam or promotions folder if you're expecting an update.
