# Transaction Limits

> Your sending and receiving limits and how to request a higher limit.

Transaction limits help keep your account secure and ensure transfers are processed smoothly. Limits apply per transaction, and some activity may also be subject to daily volume and frequency checks.

## Standard Limits

| Limit                       | Amount     | Applies To                     |
| --------------------------- | ---------- | ------------------------------ |
| Per transaction             | US\$ 4,999 | Standard customer transactions |
| Per transaction (high risk) | US\$ 999   | Customers in high-risk regions |

  Transactions above these thresholds may require additional review before they're processed. If a transaction is held for review, you'll be notified and no action is needed on your part unless we reach out for more information.

## Automated Payout Limits

If you use automated or recurring payouts, the following safeguards apply to help prevent unexpected or runaway activity:

| Limit                 | Threshold                     |
| --------------------- | ----------------------------- |
| Daily payout volume   | US\$ 20,000 per 24 hours      |
| Transaction frequency | 10 transactions per 5 minutes |

If either threshold is reached, further automated payouts will be paused until the next eligible window.
