| **State** | Yes | Select from the state/province picker |

## Steps

**1. Start Adding a Recipient**

From the **Recipients** tab, tap the **+** icon in the top-left corner.

**2. Choose the Recipient Type**

The **Add Recipient** popup opens with four destination types:

| Option | Description |
| - | - |
| **International bank** | ACH, Wire, SEPA, PIX, SPEI and more |
| **Stablecoin wallet** | Send to a wallet address |
| **Zambia bank** | Bank account in Zambia |
| **Zambia mobile money** | Airtel or MTN in Zambia |

Select **International bank**.

**3. Choose the Country / Account Type**

A second **Add Recipient** screen lists the supported account types:

* **US Account**, ACH & Wire, routing + account number
* European (IBAN), SEPA, IBAN + BIC
* Mexican (CLABE), 18-digit CLABE account number
* Brazilian Account, PIX, PIX Safe & TED
* Argentine Account, Transfers 3.0 (CVU, CBU or alias)
* Colombian Account, ACH Colombia bank transfer
* International SWIFT, Cross-border wire via SWIFT/BIC

Select **US Account**.

**4. Choose the Payment Rail**

Select which US payment rail this beneficiary will be paid through:

| Rail | Speed | Fee | Notes |
| - | - | - | - |
| **ACH** | Next business day | 1.5% | Standard, lowest-cost option |
| **Domestic Wire** | Same business day | \$20 + 1.5% | Faster, higher fixed fee |
| **RTP / FedNow** | Receive same day | \$5 + 1.5% | Sends on weekends and holidays too |

> [!TIP]
>
> The payment rail determines how quickly the recipient gets paid and what fee applies, choose based on the recipient's urgency, not just cost. RTP/FedNow is the only rail of the three that sends on weekends and holidays.

**5. Owner Details (1/2)**

The **Owner** screen collects who the beneficiary is. Start by selecting **Account Owner Type**: **Individual** or **Business**. The fields below change depending on your selection.

> [!WARNING]
>
> A profile picture placeholder and **"Add a name first"** prompt appear until you enter a Business Name or Beneficiary name, the Continue button stays inactive until the required fields on this screen are filled in.

Once all required fields are filled in, tap **Continue** to proceed to Bank Details.

**6. Bank Details (2/2)**

The final screen collects the recipient's actual bank account and billing address:

| Field | Required | Notes |
| - | - | - |
| **Account Number** | Yes | The recipient's US bank account number |
| **Routing Number** | Yes | The recipient's US bank routing number (9 digits) |
| **Street Line 1** | Yes | Billing street address |
| **Street Line 2** | Optional | Apartment, suite, or unit number |
| **City** | Yes | Billing city |
| **Postal Code** | Yes | Billing ZIP/postal code |
| **State** | Yes | Select from the state/province picker |

> [!NOTE]
>
> Double-check the account and routing numbers before submitting, an incorrect number is the most common reason a payout fails or is misdirected.

Once every field is complete, tap **Add Bank Beneficiary** to save the recipient.

## What Happens Next

Once saved, the beneficiary appears on the **Recipients** screen with a **Bank** label under their name, and is ready to receive a payout on the payment rail you selected in Step 4.

> [!NOTE]
>
> If you need to send this recipient a payout on a different rail later (e.g. you added them for ACH but now need RTP/FedNow), you'll need to check whether the app lets you edit the existing beneficiary's rail or requires adding them again with the new rail selected.
